Job summary

Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Southern is seeking a Service Administrator for Infection Prevention and Control in Dunedin. The role focuses on non-clinical administration to support the CNM and IPC team, including data entry, rostering, reports, and payroll-related tasks.

Salary band is NZD 73,476 to 76,551 p.a. pro-rata. The position requires flexibility, strong communication, confidentiality and the ability to adapt to IPC risk situations.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and confidential administration to the CNM and IPC Service.
• Assist with collation of reports and rostering.
• Arrange travel for service requirements to support Southern IPC.
• Support IPC Service staff with administration during outbreaks and education programmes.
• Maintain Time & Attendance (T&A) and OneStaff data for staffing and payroll.
• Protect and maintain patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
