Job summary

Murray & Co is seeking an experienced Associate / Associate Director to join its Auckland team, appointed by Murray & Co and reporting to senior bankers. You will lead M&A and capital markets transactions and take ownership of deal processes from origination to completion.

You will work directly with clients and senior bankers, coordinating due diligence, modelling and materials while mentoring junior team members and ensuring high-quality outputs across multiple live mandates.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment banking, corporate finance or private equity.
• Strong capability in executing M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A, debt and equity capital raising mandates and other corporate advisory transactions.
• Manage key workstreams and ensure quality output across live mandates.
• Develop financial models, valuations, transaction materials and analyses.
• Coordinate due diligence and liaise with clients, advisers and stakeholders.
• Lead and develop analysts and junior team members.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and clients throughout each process.
