Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in New Zealand, Auckland, onsite Inventory Lead role guiding stock accuracy and control across the distribution centre. You’ll drive cycle counts, stock reconciliation and data integrity while coordinating with IT and operations to optimise DC systems.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control activities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity across the distribution centre.
• Complete key inventory tasks including cycle counting, product slotting, stock consolidation, replenishment, stock receipt, reconciliation, reporting, and SKU data maintenance.
• Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to ensure supply requirements are met and stock levels are controlled.
• Prepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost.
• Support the annual stock take process and ensure inventory adjustments are investigated and completed promptly.
• Identify opportunities to improve DC systems and processes and work with IT and internal stakeholders to implement efficiency improvements.

The Job:

• As the Inventory Lead, you’ll get to: Manage inventory control activities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity across the distribution centre.
