Job summary

Bluebird Foods, part of PepsiCo, is hiring a permanent Inventory Controller to join the Supply Chain team in Wiri, New Zealand. You'll help keep inventory accurate, support SAP/WMS processes and drive cost-saving improvements across NZ sites.

Working with the Inventory Manager, you will investigate variances, manage stocktakes and ensure controls meet PepsiCo standards while supporting a safe and efficient warehouse operation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ Logistics or Inventory management experience.
• SAP WM/IM and WMS experience with ERP exposure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Stock Picker licence required.
• Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote Health, Safety and Wellbeing in line with PepsiCo values and policies.
• Work with key teams to achieve Inventory accuracy and Business KPIs.
• Manage Stocktakes, Inventory reconciliations and Variance Investigations across NZ sites.
• Coordinate Customer Returns, Credits, Stock Rotation, Aged Stock and Write-offs.
• Support SAP/WMS Processes, Reporting and System troubleshooting.
• Ensure Inventory controls, Documentation and Quality requirements meet PepsiCo standards.
• Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Supply Chain or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years’ Logistics or Inventory management experience, with strong knowledge of inventory processes.
• SAP WM/IM and WMS experience, with exposure to ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
• Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Stock Picker licence required.
• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and use sound judgement.
