Job summary

New Zealand Police is seeking an ISG Support Officer based at Police National Headquarters (PNHQ) in Wellington. The role provides administrative and logistical support for international deployments, including overseas programmes and postings to the Police Liaison Officer network.

You will coordinate medical/insurance requirements for overseas travel and ensure appropriate equipment, clothing, and documentation are in place. The role is a permanent full-time contributor in ISG.

Qualifications

• Excellent administrative skills and strong MS Office knowledge.
• Identify and maintain relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Communicate positively with a wide variety of audiences in a professional, customer-friendly and timely manner.
• Handle confidential Health, Welfare and Medical information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support for international deployments, programmes and projects.
• Ensure NZ Police Health, Welfare and Medical criteria for deployable staff are met and insurances are in place.
• Ensure deployed staff have appropriate equipment and clothing.
• Support processing of claims, invoices and record keeping.
• Process mail / freight to Diplomatic bags.
