Job summary

Farmers Trading Company Ltd in Auckland is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen the organisation's assurance framework. You will work with the Internal Audit Manager to deliver audits across the Farmers Support Office and National Distribution Centre.

You will influence stakeholders, coach teams, and drive improvements in risk management and controls, with experience in SAP and data analytics enhancing the audit process.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal or external audit, risk management or assurance.
• Strong understanding of risk management and internal control principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of audit projects against the Internal Audit Programme in line with risk and control methodology.
• Influence and motivate key stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
• Provide coaching and consulting to the business to continuously improve audit results and support ad hoc initiatives.

Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, your focus will be to use your strong technical and commercial skills to uphold best practice risk management and audit processes across the Farmers Support Office and National Distribution Centre.

• Managing the delivery of audit projects against the Internal Audit Programme in line with risk and control methodology.

• Previous experience in an internal or external audit, risk management or assurance role.
• Strong understanding of risk management and internal control principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage relationships at all levels.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and objectivity.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experience within retail or warehousing environments.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience using AI and data analytics tools.
