Grant Thornton New Zealand is seeking an Internal Audit and Risk Manager to oversee all aspects of audit engagements and risk governance. You will evaluate risk, controls and processes across diverse clients, leading engagements and mentoring staff.

You will work from Auckland with flexible arrangements including WFH, and bring a strong compliance mindset, collaboration, and proactive problem solving to the role.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Professional certification (CA, CIA or CPA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years in internal audit, external audit or risk management.
• Minimum 2+ years leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage internal audit engagements, including planning, execution and reporting.
• Assess risks and develop audit programs and testing procedures.
• Conduct interviews with stakeholders to gather information on processes and controls.
• Analyse and evaluate internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Identify improvements and provide recommendations for controls and processes.
• Prepare concise audit reports with findings and recommendations for management.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely resolution.
