Mō te tūranga | About the Role
- Develop production-level mobile app features.
- Implement mobile components within core codebase.
- Identify and guide our teams in best practices surrounding iOS and Android code.
- Adhere to existing code quality compliance standards regarding security and technical debt management.
- Review library docs for editorial quality, consistency, and usefulness.
- Report team and system progress regularly to our key stakeholders and sponsors
- Present the system’s benefits, library, and process to other groups, including product owners, content specialists and other design and engineering teams throughout the organisation.
- Communicate well: in-person and written communication skills are essential.
- Work in agile, cross-functional teams, delivering new features and optimising the existing platform.
- Work with mobile engineers to evolve patterns and standards and release system components into production.
- Work with product owners and agile scrum teams to create experiences for our digital products.
- Contribute to and consume the best practices and squad definitions as part of engineering workflow.
- Influence our mobile development practices.
- Be a good team player and collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to drive quality, experience outcomes
- Collaborate with the wider digital team to evolve and codify the user experience.
- Build strong relationships with the technical development teams.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
- 3-5 years of professional engineering experiencein iOS Mobile App Development.
- Strong Swift programming skills.
- Experience in SwiftUI compose.
- Experience in distributed systems architecture.
- Experience in building complex systems in a team environment.
- Good understanding of Quality Engineering Standards and Mobile Automation frameworks.
- Objective-C and Java experience is beneficial.
- Mobile DevOps experience with fastlane or gradle along with Jenkins is beneficial.
