KidsCan, a leading New Zealand children's charity, is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join the Albany-based finance team. You will support day-to-day financial operations, assist with month-end processes, GST, and audits, and contribute to process improvements in a modern NetSuite environment.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities within a supportive finance team and a convenient Albany location with parking.

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years' accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Accounts payable processing and supplier management.
• Accounts receivable and credit control.
• Weekly payment runs and expense reimbursements.
• Month-end journals, reconciliations and accruals.
• GST return preparation and reconciliations.
• Supporting annual financial statement preparation and audits.
• Fixed asset register maintenance.
