Scientific & Technical Recruitment is assisting an established New Zealand manufacturing business to recruit an Intermediate Accountant to join their finance team. The role offers variety, strong support and real scope to grow as you work with the Financial Controller on reporting, compliance and projects.

You will prepare journals and monthly reporting, assist with budgets and statutory returns, maintain fixed assets and support the wider finance team.

Qualifikationen

• Around 5 years' accounting experience, ideally in commercial or manufacturing.
• Relevant accounting study or a willingness to continue developing
• Strong Excel skills and good understanding of general ledger and reconciliations
• ERP experience; Greentree would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Practical, hands-on approach and good communication skills
• NZ driver licence

Aufgaben

Join an established NZ business in a hands-on Assistant Accountant role with plenty of variety, support and opportunity to grow.

The opportunity
We’re working with an established New Zealand manufacturing business looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join their finance team.
This is a broad role suited to someone with around five years' accounting experience, or a part-qualified accountant looking to step up. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller across financial reporting, compliance, reconciliations and general accounting, while also supporting wider business projects.
The role has plenty of scope to develop over time, so we’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, get involved and grow with the business.
