Job summary

McKenzie & Willis is seeking a Curtain and Blind Sales Specialist to join our Queenstown team. You will interact with clients in-store, at homes, and on building sites, offering guidance on our range of custom curtains and blinds and bringing customer dreams to life.

Bring your design expertise and customer-first mindset to a dynamic and rewarding role. You will collaborate with builders and trades, manage projects from consultation to completion, and create precise quotes to ensure outstanding

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in interior furnishings, with curtains and blinds focus.
• Strong measuring and specification skills for window coverings.
• Excellent product knowledge and a drive to learn continuously.
• Understanding of architectural plans and automation related to window treatments.
• Outstanding communication, administration, and organisational abilities.
• Precision and confidence with measurements and numerical detail.
• Logical thinking and problem solving under pressure.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients in-store, at home, and on site build projects.
• Provide expert guidance on curtains and blinds across the range.
• Interpret plans to realise customer visions.
• Collaborate with builders and trades as needed.
• Manage relationships from initial consultation to project completion.
• Create accurate quotes using pricing software.
• Specify furniture, wallpapers, bed linen, and colours for complete looks.
• Collaborate with a supportive sales team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Engaging with clients in-store, in their homes, and on building sites
• Providing expert guidance on our full range of custom curtains and blinds
• Working with plans to help bring customer dreams to life
• Liaising with builders and other trades where required
• Managing customer relationships from initial consultation through to project completion
• Creating accurate quotes using our custom pricing software
• Specifying furniture, wallpapers, bed linen and colours to create the complete look
• Collaborating with a supportive and energetic sales team
