Job summary

New Zealand Customs Service in Auckland seeks an Intelligence Analyst SCO G1 for the Offshore Disruption and Proactive Intelligence team. You will identify risks to our border and help stop threats from reaching our shores, working with domestic and international partners to disrupt TSOC networks.

The role involves producing high-quality intelligence reports for decision makers, operating in a fast-paced environment, and using tools like Nexus and I2 Notebook.

Qualifications

• Experience in Intelligence.
• Curiosity and talent for identifying patterns and anomalies.
• Experience with data sets and analytical tools like Nexus and I2 Notebook.
• Understanding of information security principles (classifications, handling of information).
• Experience in report writing and producing high-quality intelligence reports for decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks to the border and help stop threats from reaching shores.
• Produce high-quality intelligence reporting for decision makers and partner agencies.
• Engage with domestic and international partners to disrupt TSOC and organised crime networks.
• Work within the Offshore Disruption and Proactive Intelligence team to support intelligence-led risk management.
