Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Instrumentation Engineer to join a Queenstown-based team. You will design, implement, calibrate, and maintain measurement and control instrumentation used in industrial processes, ensuring data accuracy to optimize operations and uphold safety standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in instrumentation, process control, or automation.

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and commission instruments (pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, valves).
  • Develop and maintain calibration procedures and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
  • Work with PLC and DCS systems to integrate instrumentation data into control loops.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations for instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities
