Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Decision Analyst in Hamilton, New Zealand, to partner with manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams to transform data into actionable business decisions. You will uncover insights, drive action, and improve the speed and quality of decisions through analytics.

The role emphasizes evidence-based recommendations, KPI development, and collaboration with operations to lift performance and credibility of insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in business/operations analysis, reporting or analytics.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data and translate into practical recommendations.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Excel, Databricks or similar analytics platforms.
• Qualification in analytics, business, supply chain or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define business problems and decision requirements.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support business objectives.
• Prioritise and deliver timely, decision-ready insights for operational risks and opportunities.
• Support KPI development, performance measurement and reporting governance.
• Use Power BI, SQL, Databricks, Excel and AI-enabled analytics to generate insights.
• Collaborate with leaders and technical teams to improve performance and decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Operations.
