Job summary

MAS is expanding its Data & Analytics capability and is recruiting for a 12-month fixed-term Insights Analyst based in our Wellington Office. You will analyse data to identify trends, develop dashboards and reporting, and present clear insights to support informed decisions across the organisation.

We value strong Power BI and SQL skills, experience with complex datasets, and the ability to translate data into practical recommendations for stakeholders across multiple business areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Insights Analyst or data-focused role.
• Strong Power BI and SQL capabilities.
• Experience with complex datasets.
• Knowledge of Python or R is advantageous.
• Ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, risks and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to answer business questions and reporting needs.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support data quality, governance and reporting processes.
• Contribute to automated reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
