Job summary

Vector Limited is seeking a Project Manager - Innovation to lead the Suburb of the Future pilot in central Auckland, coordinating technology, customers, network, regulatory and partner streams. You’ll own scope, budget and risks while guiding delivery partners and governance structures.

You’ll shape how solar, battery and smart EV charging are deployed in communities, engage customers and industry stakeholders, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for scale and sustainable

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex multi-workstream programmes with governance, budgets and risks.
• Influence without direct authority and build trusted external partnerships.
• Ability to create structure, maintain momentum and progress when details are still developing.
• Clear communication translating technical/project info into actionable decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of Vector’s Suburb of the Future programme.
• Coordinate technical teams and delivery partners across workstreams.
• Governance, reporting and management of scope, timing and funding commitments.
• Turn evidence and feedback into clear recommendations for scale or deployment in the field.
