Job summary

Downer in Auckland's energy & utilities sector seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive delivery from planning to completion across Vector networks. You will coordinate resources, manage budgets and foster trusted relationships with Vector and partners, delivering projects on time and within safety and quality standards.

Candidate should have proven PM experience in electricity/utilities, design and construction knowledge, and strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience, ideally within electricity, utilities or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of engineering design, construction and network operating standards.
• Strong commercial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors and delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Leading electricity projects from planning and design through to construction and completion.
• Coordinating people, contractors and resources to meet project plans and customer commitments.
• Managing project budgets, expenditure, revenue, forecasting and timely invoicing.
• Building strong relationships with Vector, delivery teams, consultants and local authorities.
• Monitoring project performance, resolving delivery risks and providing accurate reporting.
• Championing Zero Harm and ensuring work meets contract, quality, regulatory and network standards.
