Job summary

ACC New Zealand is seeking an Injury Prevention Leader to provide delivery leadership for Treatment Safety priorities and to transform learning into practical prevention actions across Aotearoa New Zealand.

You will lead planning and delivery, bringing together treatment injury data, clinical evidence, research and system intelligence to identify risks and commission evidence-informed prevention initiatives with sector partners.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading delivery of complex programmes or system-change initiatives.
• Strong health systems knowledge and systems thinking capability.
• Experience using data, research and system intelligence to inform decisions.
• Ability to build trusted relationships across ACC, government, health agencies, iwi/Māori communities.
• Experience applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in design and delivery of work.
• Experience in governance, risk, investment and performance reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of ACC’s Treatment Safety priorities across the organisation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary expertise through ambiguity and change.
• Commission evidence-informed prevention initiatives with health sector partners.
• Turn treatment injury data and learning into practical prevention action.
• Build shared understanding, shape solutions and coordinate action across ACC and partners.
• Deliver measurable, equitable system improvement across Aotearoa New Zealand.
