Job summary

Skills Group is seeking an Industry Trainer - Business (Project Management & Leadership) on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term basis. The role uses a hybrid delivery model, primarily online with one day per week based at our Wiri campus in Auckland.

You will deliver high-quality, applied training across our project management and leadership programmes, facilitate online learning, assess learner work and provide ongoing academic and pastoral support to help learners progress through their

Qualifications

• Workplace experience in project management and/or leadership.
• Qualification Level 6+ in Project Management or Leadership.
• Adult education/training qualification or equivalent knowledge.
• Hold Unit Standard 4098 or willingness to obtain it with full support.
• Strong facilitation, communication and organisational skills; online training experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online training across project management and leadership programmes with workplace-based scenarios.
• Mark learner assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide academic support throughout the learner journey to help progression.
• Support learner engagement and wellbeing, onboarding and at‑risk learners.
• Monitor learner progress and report engagement and achievement.
• Maintain current PM/Leadership knowledge and contribute to programme improvement.
