Job summary
The Paint Factory Limited is a New Zealand specialist contractor delivering passive fire protection, intumescent coating and protective coating solutions for structural steel. We work across commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial and infrastructure projects, supporting clients from surface preparation through to coating application, inspection and QA.

Qualifications
- Experience in industrial, structural steel or commercial painting.
- Airless spray application experience.
- Experience applying protective/intumescent coatings.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application.
- Ability to follow technical data sheets and site instructions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare structural steel and substrates prior to coating.
- Apply primers, intumescent and protective coatings.
- Operate airless spray and other painting equipment.
- Carry out surface preparation and thickness checks.
- Follow project specifications and QA procedures.
- Maintain equipment and ensure on-site safety.
