Job summary

Silver Fern Farms Hāwera is seeking a motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for hands-on electrical reliability improvements, repairs and maintenance within a large industrial food processing site.

The role offers a rotating two-week roster, a 45-hour week, day and night shifts, and opportunities for project work, site upgrades and equipment installation. A strong team environment and ongoing training support your development.

Qualifications

• Analytical and fault-finding in electrical systems on a large industrial site.
• Strong teamwork and communication within a maintenance crew.
• Ability to plan and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on electrical repairs and maintenance to improve site reliability.
• Contribute to projects and installation of new site equipment.
• Analyse faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
