Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific Pty is seeking a customer-focused team member for a six-month fixed-term maternity leave cover at our Kaitaia branch. You will handle goods receipt, order picking and packing, and provide product advice to a diverse customer base.

Role involves front-counter service, responding to enquiries by phone, email or in person, and building relationships with local customers in trade and industrial sectors. Local delivery may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, trade, automotive, mechanical, warehousing or customer-service environments.
• Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner.
• Curiosity and practical problem-solving ability.
• Interest in mechanical or industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and accurately receipt incoming goods and stock shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Provide product advice and support to a diverse customer base.
• Deliver front-counter service.
• Respond to customer enquiries and process orders by phone, email, and in person.
• Build trusted customer relationships and support the branch as supplier of choice.
• Assist with showroom promotions and counter-sales activities.
• Support general warehouse and branch duties as required.
