Job summary

Mitre 10 Waihi is seeking a reliable Inwards Goods Team Member for a fixed-term, full-time role through to 28 March 2027. You will receive, check, and process incoming stock, ensuring accurate recording and timely availability to the store. A forklift endorsement and NZ driver's licence are essential.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced warehouse, work collaboratively with colleagues across departments, and help maintain safe inventory practices.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and good computer literacy.
• Hands-on attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous storeroom, inventory, or warehouse experience (preferred).
• A current OSH forklift endorsement (essential).
• A full New Zealand Driver's Licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Accurately check, receipt, and record all incoming goods
• Ensure stock is correctly labelled, stored, and available for the team
• Work closely with other departments to maintain inventory accuracy
• Undertake physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock
• Support a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse environment
