Job summary

Transpower is seeking an ICT Risk and Assurance Manager to lead security risk, assurance and governance across IT, OT, cloud and third-party environments in Aotearoa New Zealand. You will connect cyber risks to governance forums, shaping evidence-led resilience and regulatory readiness.

The role sits at the centre of technology and critical infrastructure, partnering with senior leaders, regulatory bodies and audits to drive effective risk management and assurance outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in cyber / ICT risk, assurance, audit or governance.
• Experience developing ICT risk and assurance frameworks.
• Experience with executive governance and risk-based decision making.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and evidence-based reporting.
• Understanding IT and OT security, cloud and third-party risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop ICT security risk, assurance and governance frameworks.
• Lead assurance programs for risk, controls and resilience.
• Provide reporting on ICT risk and resilience to senior leaders.
• Coordinate audits, regulatory reviews and control validation.
• Prepare for evolving infrastructure regulation and readiness.
