Job summary

Intergroup Vac U Digga division is seeking a Hydro Excavation Operator to work on-site across NZ projects. You’ll operate high-pressure water and vacuum systems to expose underground services and safeguard infrastructure.

This role is physical and outdoors, with a reliable crew that values safety, teamwork and quality. No hydro experience required if you have the right attitude and a Class 2 licence; training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Full, clean Class 2 licence is required or advantageous.
• Good physical fitness and a strong work ethic are essential.
• A practical, can-do attitude and willingness to learn are important.
• Civil or hydro excavation experience is an advantage—not essential.

The Role

As a Hydro Excavation Operator, you’ll be out on site every day operating high-pressure water and vacuum systems to safely expose underground services and protect critical infrastructure.

This is physical, fast-paced work where no two days are the same. You’ll be outdoors, working as part of a reliable crew that gets on with the job, looks out for each other, and takes pride in doing things right.

No hydro experience is needed. If you’ve got the right attitude and a Class 2 licence, we’ll provide full training and support to get you up to speed.
