Te Kura o Hau Kāretu is seeking an enthusiastic kaiako to join our inclusive team in a permanent, full-time position (1.0 FTTE) starting from term 1 2027. This hybrid role combines 0.4 FTTE teaching in our Year 6 classroom with 0.6 FTTE as a Specialist ORS Teacher.

As our specialist ORS teacher (0.6), you will work with tamariki who have high and complex learning needs, designing tailored pathways and fostering an inclusive environment where every child thrives.

Competenze

• ORS and special education experience required
• Compassionate and relational educator
• Highly collaborative with kaiako, whānau and leadership
• Ability to guide, support and empower teacher aides
• Strong, proactive behaviour management grounded in positive practices
