Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Electrician & Instrumentation Engineer for a full-time permanent role in Central Otago. You will be part of a large electrical team working on multiple projects, based in Alex or Cromwell, with a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for overtime.

The role requires a NZ Electrical Licence, 2+ years of NZ industrial electrical experience, and proficiency with SCADA integration and PLC programming. A NZ driver’s licence and full work rights are essential.

CENTRAL OTAGO

• Minimum 2 yrs NZ Industrial Electrical work
• Troubleshooting, service, repairs & wiring
• Manufacturing / construction/ Infrastructure
• Proficient with SCADA integration & PLC Programming
• Automation & instrumentation skills
• Field service / plant based experience
• NZ Drivers licence

You will be part of a large, permanent electrical team working on a number of projects in the Central Otago region. Base yourself in affordable Alex or Cromwell & still enjoy the best of the region without the housing & traffic issues

This is a permanent role, with a large organisation, with a huge scope of works.

You will earn a competitive hourly wage

Time and half overtime after 8 in a day

Monday - Friday dayshift hours

On-call opportunity to earn more

We have 1 full-time permanent job available in our precast concrete production facility.

Minimum of 30hours per week, maximum of 40hours per week.

$35 - $40/ hr depending on ability and experience

The rule includes:

• Directly overseeing all staff working in casting yard.
• Uses shop drawings to set-out precast components.
• Box and form panels on casting and stressing beds.
• Operates forklift and telehandler.
• Install pre-fabricated reinforcing cages.
• Works with crane operators to demould panels from casting bed and stacking in racks.
• Assists with loading trucks for delivery to site.

*You must have 1-2 years of work experience

*Qualification is not required if the work experience requirement is met

*Must provide the latest police and medical certificate, must provide recent drug test result, did not claim from ACC for the last 3 years, must have a full and clean driver's license
