Job summary

Placements24 in Otago, Queenstown is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for reliability repairs in a precast concrete production facility. This full-time role offers a 30–40 hour week with a pay rate of NZD 35–40 per hour, based on ability and experience.

You will oversee staff in the casting yard, interpret shop drawings to set-out precast components, box and form panels, operate forklift/telehandler, install reinforcing cages, and assist with loading trucks for site delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of work experience in the field.
• Police and medical certifi cate required; drug test result needed.
• Full and clean driver’s license required.
• Must not have claimed from ACC in the last 3 years.

$35 - $40/ hr depending on ability and experience

• Operates forklift and telehandler.

• Works with crane operators to demould panels from casting bed and stacking in racks.
• Assists with loading trucks for delivery to site.

• You must have 1-2 years of work experience
• Qualification is not required if the work experience requirement is met
• Must provide the latest police and medical certifi cate, must providerecent drug test result, did not claim from ACC for the last 3 years, musthave a full and clean driver's license
