Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar analytical role in FMCG preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced), SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with inventory management, demand planning, and logistics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
• Reside within commuting distance of Queenstown, Eastern Cape for hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs related to inventory, logistics, and supplier performance.
• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, sales) and external partners (suppliers, distributors) to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Evaluate supplier performance and work towards stronger supplier relationships.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and strategies.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies within the supply chain.
• Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall operational efficiency for Queenstown-based operations.
