Heights Recruitment is seeking a senior HVAC technician/foreman to join a project-driven team in Central Otago. The role is based in Alexandra with work spanning the entire region, focusing on commercial HVAC installation, maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

• Experienced HVAC installer or foreman with ability to jump on site and get stuck in.
• Knowledge of ducting, ventilation and refrigeration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair commercial HVAC systems across Central Otago.
• Work as part of a tight-knit trades team to outfit spaces like medical centers and kitchens.
• Diagnose issues and perform related maintenance and repairs.

We are on the lookout for a senior HVAC technician/foreman who can jump on site and just get stuck in. Alternatively, the right candidate can be trained up from a junior role, and grow into a senior position.

The role is based in Alexandra, but the work spans across the whole Central Otago region. Day-to-day will involve commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repairs.

Role:

Get stuck in to some epic HVAC projects that will have you whizzing around beautiful Central Otago! We are looking for a senior HVAC installer who knows their way around ducting, ventilation and bonus points for refrigeration! You will be working as part of a tight-knit team of experienced tradespeople to ensure commercial spaces such as medical centers, community centers, kitchens and more, get kitted out with the finest ducting Central Otago has seen.

As well as new installations, you will know your way around diagnostics, maintenance and repairs.

Maybe you are not yet senior in your role, but have a keen interest and some HVAC experience under your belt - we still want to talk to you! Our client is big on supported growth, so are open to assisting the right person into a more senior position down the track.

There are also workshop positions open within the workshop space for someone with a solid background in sheet metal fabrication.

What we are looking for:

• Experienced HVAC installer, or someone with a keen interest to grow into a senior role
• Refrigeration experience in a bonus!
• A solid team-player with confidence to work independently
• Organized and proactive approach to work
• Pride in workmanship and customer service
