Tip Top Bakeries is seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner to join our New Zealand HSE team based at Wiri. You will partner with site leaders to provide expert health, safety and environmental guidance and build capability across a busy manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the HSE Manager NZ, you will embed best practice HSE systems, drive proactive safety culture, and ensure compliance with NZ legislation and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent in Health, Safety & Environment; NEBOSH or related degree welcomed.
  • 3–5 years' experience in a Health, Safety and Environment role.
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or similar complex operational environment.
  • Proven ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels.
  • Strong investigation, risk management and auditing experience.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.

Responsabilités

  • Partner with operational leaders to enhance safety leadership and accountability.
  • Coach and support teams to implement HSE programmes and risk reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with incident investigations and ensure robust corrective actions are implemented.
  • Drive continuous improvement through audits, self-assessments and action planning.
  • Deliver and facilitate HSE training programmes across the site.
  • Monitor and analyse injury, incident and safety performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support injury management and return-to-work programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
  • Promote and embed Tip Top's safety culture.

We're looking for an experienced HSE Business Partnerto join our New Zealand HSE team based at Wiri and partner closely with ouroperations. About the role

Reporting to the HSE Manager NZ, you will be a trustedadvisor to site leaders, providing expert health, safety and environmentalguidance while coaching teams to build capability, reduce risk and improveperformance.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • ADiploma or equivalent qualification in Health, Safety & Environment(or related field)- NEBOSH, or relevant degree also welcomed
  • Minimum3 to 5 years' experience in a Health, Safety and Environment role.
  • Strongworking knowledge of New Zealand HSE legislation and regulatoryrequirements.
  • Experiencewithin manufacturing, food production, FMCG or a similarly complexoperational environment.
  • Provenability to coach and influence leaders at all levels.
  • Stronginvestigation, risk management and auditing experience.
  • Excellentfacilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Acollaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
