Job summary

Martin Brower is seeking an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR team in New Zealand. Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, you will work across NZ distribution centres and support AU offices, focusing on HR queries, onboarding, performance reviews and employee relations.

You will partner with leadership to drive engagement, manage complaints, and deliver HR programs while drafting contracts and documentation.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience with qualifications in HR, Business or equivalent.
• Solutions-focused with ability to build relationships across all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Prior experience supporting Employment relations (ER) cases and understanding NZ employment legislation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for HR queries in New Zealand.
• Partner with leadership to influence on change management, retention, engagement, talent and performance development.
• Manage and investigate complaints and grievances to maintain a positive work environment.
• Support onboarding, probationary reviews, performance reviews, training and development, performance management and offboarding.
• Draft HR documentation (contracts, changes, investigations) and support HR processes.
• Support cyclical HR processes (Engagement, Pulse, Ethics Surveys, Audits).
• Assist in ad-hoc HR projects (process mapping, docs, flow charts, Great Place to Work certification).
