Job summary

Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day housekeeping operations at one of New Zealand’s iconic coastal destinations.

You will lead the housekeeping team, coordinate cleaning activities, and maintain high standards across accommodation and public facilities while supporting staff training, health & safety, and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading housekeeping teams in hospitality.

We’re looking for a Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at one of New Zealand’s most iconic coastal destinations.

Working alongside our Housekeeping Manager, you’ll help lead the day-to-day housekeeping team, coordinate cleaning activities, maintain high standards across our accommodation and public facilities, and support staff training, health & safety and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised, hands-on and comfortable leading a team, with a strong focus on quality, safety and creating a great experience for our guests.

This is a fixed-term position from October through to the end of February, with the potential for longer-term opportunities beyond the fixed-term period.

The role involves variable hours, with some shifts starting as early as 6:30am. Applicants must be available to work weekends and public holidays as required.
