Job summary

Jack’s Point Hospitality seeks a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the guest services team across premium accommodation, the Clubhouse and communal facilities in Queenstown. You will supervise the in-house team and coordinate with the external contractor to ensure consistently high cleaning and presentation standards.

Reporting to Rooms/Lodging management, you will conduct property checks, manage stock and records, and perform hands-on duties when needed.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months' experience in housekeeping supervision or similar hospitality role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Experience maintaining accurate records, stock levels and inventory.
• Proficiency with standard software, including spreadsheets and property management systems (PMS).
• Excellent communication and ability to build effective working relationships with contractors and colleagues.
• Calm, professional approach, even when busy.
• Willingness to perform hands-on cleaning duties across all areas.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping standards across accommodation, Clubhouse and communal facilities.
• Coordinate the external housekeeping contractor, including schedules and cleaning quality.
• Conduct pre-arrival and post-departure property checks and address issues.
• Undertake hands-on cleaning and presentation duties as required.
• Manage guest amenities, stock levels and consumables with records.
• Maintain housekeeping records and report issues to management.
• Assist rostering, training and day-to-day supervision as in-house team grows.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
