Rydges Wellington Airport is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to help ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable, spotless stay. You will clean guest rooms and public areas to EVT standards, restock amenities, and support a fast-paced hotel team.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial housekeeping experience in a busy hotel setting is preferred.
• Physical stamina and fitness to lift, push and pull heavy objects.
• Strong availability, including weekends and evenings, to support a busy hotel roster.
• A collaborative, dependable approach with pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
• Resilience to work productively under pressure and adapt to a changing daily workload.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and suites, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitising all surfaces.
• Replace linens and towels as needed and restock guest room amenities such as toiletries to hotel standards.
• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways and common spaces.
• Report any maintenance issues, damaged items or necessary repairs to the Housekeeping Manager or Maintenance Team.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and follow correct procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including correct use of PPE and cleaning chemicals.
