Job summary

Compass Group New Zealand is seeking a Kitchen Hand at Tauranga Hospital on a casual basis. You will assist with basic food preparation, serve meals, and help maintain high standards of food safety and customer service for patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment or similar role.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to high standards of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, portioning and presentation.
• Serve meals and provide friendly customer service.
• Maintain clean and tidy kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and infection control procedures.
• Receive, rotate and replenish stock and supplies.
