Job summary

Enliven Northern is seeking an Enliven Support Worker to visit clients in their homes, assisting with personal cares, medication, meal preparation and daily activities. You will follow the care plan and support independence.

Ideal candidates are caring, with clear English, hold NZ residency or eligible visa, a current NZ driver’s licence or Restricted licence with a reliable vehicle, and can work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• NZ resident or eligible work visa.
• Full NZ driver’s licence or Restricted licence with a reliable vehicle.
• Able to accommodate evenings and weekends.
• Clear English reading, writing and speaking to clients and colleagues.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to engage with diverse people.
• High-quality standards and ability to follow policies and practices.
• Compassion for the elderly, disabled, and those in recovery.
• Confident to visit clients’ homes to provide care and support.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes to help with personal cares (showering, dressing) and daily activities.
• Assist with medication administration, meal preparation, and home help as per the care plan.
• Support clients to participate in community activities and maintain independence.
• Keep care plans up to date and communicate any changes to the care team.
