Genius Early Years in Queenstown/Otago seeks a qualified, fully registered Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our Home-Based Early Learning Service as a Visiting Teacher. This permanent part-time role starts at 10 hours per week with the potential to grow as our network expands.

The successful applicant will travel around the region to support Educators and provide professional leadership. You will lead and mentor home-based Educators, apply Ministry of Education guidelines, and uphold

Qualifications

An early childhood teaching qualification (minimum Diploma of Teaching).
Experience in leading adults, including mentoring and coaching.
A full clean NZ driver's license.
Knowledge of professional practice in early childhood education.
Understanding of Ministry of Education legislation.
Ability to juggle a varied workload.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Experience with learning stories, programme planning and some administration.

Responsabilités

Provide leadership and support to in-home Educators.
Travel around the Queenstown/Otago region to support Educators and the team.
Lead development of learning stories and programme planning for in-home learning.
