Job summary

Bright Futures Home-based Childcare Hawke's Bay is seeking a Home-based Team Leader to oversee a small Visiting Teachers team across Hawke’s Bay. You will manage programme delivery and day-to-day operations, ensuring quality outcomes across all visits.

This fixed-term, full-time role starts 9 November 2026 and runs to 5 November 2027 to maternity leave coverage. A Diploma of Teaching and a current Teaching Council practising certificate are essential, with strong intrapersonal and coaching

Qualifications

• Diploma of Teaching required and NZ-recognised.
• Current and practising Teaching Council of Aotearoa NZ certificate.
• Sound Te Whaariki knowledge, home-based ECE regs and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small Visiting Teachers team across Hawke's Bay.
• Oversee programme delivery and day-to-day operations.
• Champion quality outcomes across all visits.
