Job summary

Helicopters Otago Ltd seeks a qualified flight instructor to lead ab-initio flight training across PPL, CPL and type ratings in the South Island.

You must hold a New Zealand CPL, have mountain flying experience, and be able to work in New Zealand with no sponsorship. Night rating and turbine helicopter experience are desirable; you will train teams and support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• New Zealand CPL is required.
• Mountain flying experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct ab-initio flight training (PPL, CPL, type ratings, night ratings).

Helicopters Otago Ltd has been providing aviation services to the lower half of the South Island for over 30 years. Operating a modern fleet of 20 plus single and twin engine helicopters including Guimbal G2, Bell 206 and 206L, Airbus H125, H145, EC145 and BK117. Our company embraces innovative practices and technologies in all areas of our operation including agricultural work, flight training, commercial ops and EMS operations.

We are seeking a qualified flight instructor to join the organisation to take a lead role in ab-initio flight training.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

New Zealand CPL

Mountain flying experience

MUST be able to work in New Zealand. (No sponsorship available)

Night & night x-country rating (desirable)

Turbine helicopter experience (desirable)

Tasks & responsibilities

Scheduling and carrying out ab-initio flight training (PPL,CPL, type ratings, night ratings etc)
