Job summary

Helicopters Otago Ltd is seeking a qualified flight instructor to join our team and take a lead role in ab-initio flight training.

The successful candidate will schedule and deliver ab-initio training across PPL, CPL, type ratings and night ratings, with opportunities to contribute to commercial or passenger transport as needed. A NZ CPL and mountain flying experience are essential, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• New Zealand CPL is required.
• Mountain flying experience.
• Must be able to work in New Zealand (no sponsorship).
• Night rating desirable.
• Turbine helicopter experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct ab-initio flight training (PPL, CPL, type ratings, night ratings).
• Carry out commercial or passenger transport work if required.
• Must work well in a team environment.
