Job summary

Scania New Zealand is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Technician to perform repair and maintenance, mechanical diagnostics, and servicing of vehicles and equipment at our Scania-owned workshops across New Zealand.

You will work to high quality standards, using genuine Scania parts and top-tier tooling, with a strong safety focus and opportunities for career mobility, training, and development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification or 3 years proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician
• Commitment to quality workmanship and Scania values
• NZ Driver’s License required; forklift license desirable

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance, mechanical diagnostics and service of vehicles and equipment
• Work on engine rebuilds and servicing
• Promote health and safety to foster a safe work environment
