Job summary

Scania New Zealand in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to diagnose, service and repair Scania heavy vehicles. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance and rebuilds, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction in a busy workshop.

The role requires a NZQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent and at least 3 years of hands-on experience. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, and you will join a supportive team with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• NZ heavy vehicle qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience as Heavy Vehicle Technician
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostics, rebuilds, service and repairs on Scania heavy vehicles
• Work on all aspects of repairs and maintenance including engine rebuilds and servicing
• Maintain a safe and productive workshop environment
