Job summary

Scania New Zealand is seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our Rotorua workshop. You will perform diagnostics, repairs and scheduled maintenance on Scania heavy vehicles with an emphasis on quality workmanship and safety.

Location is Rotorua, predominantly on-site with some travel across New Zealand for project work. This full-time role offers competitive pay and a pathway within Scania’s global team, with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 4 qualification or 3+ years experience as Heavy Vehicle Technician.
• Ability to perform repairs, maintenance and diagnostics to Scania standards.
• Strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Repair & maintenance, mechanical diagnostics and service of vehicles & equipment.
• Work on engine rebuilds and servicing as part of repairs & maintenance.
• Promote health and safety to maintain a safe work environment.
