Scania New Zealand is seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician based in Wellington to perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Scania heavy vehicles. Travel to other NZ workshops or training facilities may be required.

A NZQA Level 4 qualification or 3+ years of proven experience is required, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The role offers hourly pay of $39.00–$41.00, with a minimum guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 4 qualification or 3+ years proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and Scania values.
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Current full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence; forklift & Heavy vehicle licences are highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintenance, mechanical diagnostics and service of Scania vehicles and equipment.
• Engine rebuilds and servicing across heavy vehicles.
• Promote health and safety in the workshop and a safe work environment.
