Job summary

6am Recruitment is seeking a motivated individual to join a busy workshop in the heavy transport sector. You will work on preparing and painting large vehicles, including applying 2-pack epoxy coatings, with a strong emphasis on quality finishes.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of relevant experience, be keen to learn, and ready to grow with a supportive, progressive company. NZ residency or valid work visa is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in preparing or painting large vehicles such as trucks or machinery.
• Experience using 2-pack epoxy coatings.
• Willingness to learn and progress within the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trucks or machinery for painting in a workshop setting.
• Apply epoxy-based coatings, including 2-pack systems.
• Perform prep work leading up to the top coat to ensure a quality finish.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop and work collaboratively with team members.
• Show commitment to learning and advancing within the company.
