Job summary

AWF Group in New Zealand is seeking skilled heavy machinery operators to contribute to major civil and infrastructure projects across Lower Hutt, Otaki and Porirua.

You will operate earthmoving equipment, attend toolbox and WIP meetings, perform machine checks and ensure compliance with NZTA and H&S regulations while delivering quality results on schedule.

We offer ongoing training, PPE gear, weekly pay and the chance for permanent opportunities within leading kiwi contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery for earthmoving, roadworks and construction.
• New Zealand Class 2 licence (minimum for driving roles).
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather.
• Strong health and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery on civil and infrastructure projects in Lower Hutt, Otaki and Porirua.
• Attend toolbox/WIP meetings and conduct machine checks.
• Ensure compliance with NZTA and H&S regulations.
• Be available for ongoing, long-term projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be working on some of the most exciting projects currently on the go in Lower Hutt, Otaki and Porirua. Using your solid experience operating heavy machinery for earthmoving, roadworks and construction. You will also be expected to attend toolbox/WIP meetings & conduct machine checks, as well as ensure compliance with NZTA and H&S regulations.

What You Need:

• New Zealand Class 2 Licence (minimum for driving roles)
• Physically fit and ready to work in all weather
• Strong health & safety mindset
