Job summary

Canstaff in Ashburton is seeking an experienced Heavy Machine Operator to join our busy site crew. You will operate diggers and loaders across a range of earthworks tasks, supporting the subdivision, kerb and channel work, and broader infrastructure projects.

We are looking for someone with proven machine operation experience, a solid understanding of safety practices, and the ability to work reliably in a team or independently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating diggers and loaders (heavy machinery).
• WTR required.

Responsibilities

• Operate diggers and loaders across a variety of tasks.
• Carry out general earthworks, loading, site works and material handling.
• Assist with labouring duties as required.
• Maintain machinery and follow site safety procedures.
