Auckland Council is seeking a Head of Transport Delivery to lead the safe, coordinated and reliable delivery of complex technology initiatives across Parking, Roading and Transport Infrastructure. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity that puts you at the forefront of shaping the city’s technology delivery.

You’ll influence executive stakeholders and help shape a unified operating model, delivering long-term value for the city while balancing transformation with operational excellence.

Formación

• 15+ years of senior technology delivery leadership experience.
• Strong transport, infrastructure, roading, parking or related technology domain expertise.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale technology programmes.
• Experience leading through organisational change, transformation or operating model transitions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at executive level.

As Head of Transport Delivery, you'll lead the safe, coordinated and reliable delivery of complex technology initiatives supporting transport-related business functions including Parking, Roading and Transport Infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to influence how technology enables essential services that impact hundreds of thousands of Aucklanders every day. Please note this is a 12 months fixed term opportunity.

Working closely with senior leaders across Technology Services and transport functions, you’ll help shape a unified technology operating model that delivers long-term value for the city.

You’re a seasoned technology delivery leader who thrives in large, complex environments and knows how to balance transformation with operational excellence.

You’ll have:

• 15+ years of senior technology delivery leadership experience.
• Strong transport, infrastructure, roading, parking or related technology domain expertise.
• A proven track record delivering large-scale technology programmes and portfolios.
• Experience leading through organisational change, transformation or operating model transitions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at executive level.A passion for building high-performing teams and delivering outcomes that matter.
