Job summary

NZ Transport Agency | Waka Kotahi is seeking a senior leader to head the Transport Ticketing & Payments (TTP) business unit. You will drive development and growth of services within the National Ticketing Solution programme, coordinating with PTAs and partners across the sector to deliver real-time, reliable public transport ticketing solutions.

The role requires strong governance experience, ability to manage complex multi-agency initiatives and a commitment to safe and sustainable transport

Qualifications

• Strong senior leadership experience in complex organisations.
• Proven ability to manage multi-function teams through design, development and implementation.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management and communication skills.
• Experience operating in real-time environments with tight operational KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Transport Ticketing & Payments (TTP) business unit within the NTS Programme.
• Oversee establishment and growth of the TTP services to support the NTS Programme milestones.
• Act as primary interface with PTAs and multi-agency partners during initial development phases.
